TOPIC ONE: NEWGROUNDS UNDERDOG AUDIO COMPETITION 2018

TOPIC TWO: X REMAKE NUMBER 8

I have had Andromeda X collecting dust for almost two months now, and I may hopefully get back to it again when I come back from my week-long inactivity. :D

The question that has come to me is if Andromeda X will be Lost in Space Chapter 8. Here is my answer:
Maybe. I want to try to have all of my Lost in Space songs original, so that means no remixes. Somebody did ask me about a short side-story about Andromeda X. I may do that, but the level of uncertainty is very high for this song to be part of anything other than being an X remake. :/

TOPIC THREE: NEW THINGS REVIVAL

I am doing a few test experiments for New Things, one of which is my first EDM experiment/song. My EDM experiment is slow-moving mixing-wise, so we may not see this come anytime soon in the coming weeks or so.

TOPIC FOUR: BLAST FROM THE PAST CHAPTER 3 (AND BREIF EXPLANATIONS)

Here is the first main topic of the post.

I have finally began on my third chapter of Blast from the Past! As the official sequel to A Colonial Age Ceremony of War, Chapter 3 will have its timeline to take place in the Revolutionary War.

Blast from the Past did not officially come until after I made A Colonial Age Ceremony of War. The sequel to An Early Age Ceremony of the Natives was to be named A Colonial Age Ceremony of War (as the idea for the name was in my mind since I uploaded An Early Age Ceremony of the Natives to Newgrounds).

All of the Blast from the Past songs take quite some time to make, while each has their own distinct difference from the rest. Chapter 1 had an atonal style of music, Chapter 2 was an instense cinematic piece, and Chapter 3 will be an instense cinematic piece while also having some minor chords here and there (no planned date for Chapter 3).

Blast from the Past may soon not be all solo songs. Anybody who wishes to help me out with future songs in Blast from the Past can help out (you will need to know how to do war-like cinematic songs, no dubstep... yet...).

TOPIC FIVE: KEEPING THE IMPACTS SEQUEL

Now to the second main topic of the post.

I have officially decided to do a sequel to Keeping the Impacts. Even though some people did not like it, I am still doing a sequel for it. This time, I may need some help. I will need at least 5 to 10 other people to help me make some 64-measure drops. :D

What am I expecting for your drops? Nothing much, whatever you can make and I should be pleased. Try to make your drop the way you usually make your drops. Be sure to set the tempo at 140 BPM.

What genres should the drops be? Not specific. Do whichever genre you can do best. Dubstep, trap, house, electro. Whatever you can do best.

Why 32 measures? 32 measures (or 4 parts of 8 measures) was the length of each drop in Keeping the Impacts (I will also a couple of 64 measure, and it was also the length of my usual drops. I know some people do 16 or 32 measures for their drops, but 32 measures will be the exact amount (it is okay if you have reverb on the tail-end of the drop).

What is the limit? This will depend on how many people decide to commit to this megacollaboration. I know there will be people who will choose to keep it at 1 slot (32 measures), some others will choose to have 2 slots (64 measures), and a couple may choose 3 slots (96 measures). A side point to this question is that I may want to keep drops non-consecutive (unless transitions become a problem).

TOPIC SIX: LOST IN SPACE UPDATES

With Chapter 7 uploaded and another collaboration waiting, this puts me in a weird spot. The planned story ahead of Chapter 7 has changed so much that it seems like a different story than from Chapter 1 being finished.

A collab only planned to have 5 chapters now has at least 10 or even 15 planned chapters. :O

I am trying again on NGADM this year (even though I probably won't make it, but hope to place higher than last year :P). I decided to use this song for NGADM18.

TOPIC TWO: NEWGROUNDS UNDERDOG AUDIO COMPETITION 2018

For NGUAC this year, I may team up with @TheFantasticZ for the competition (@Troisnyx can we use a solo entry for a team-up for NGUAC? This is just a little question that has bugged me since NGADM18 opened its submissions). This will also mean a lot more of these in the future (if we make it, that is). Although, if we decide not to team up, then we will be in different categories, regardless (I will either be in the middle category or in the All-Stars if I get 2 more fans >~<).

TOPIC THREE: LOST IN SPACE UPDATE

So, two collabs for Lost in Space are in progress, one of which is nearly done (which is Chapter 7).

So... I want to first say what has been going on lately. You may have noticed that I stopped again on making music, but I have not! I have been doing other things in place (will talk about it later in this post).

FIRST POST: LOST IN SPACE STORY COLLAB

I need any musicians, storywriters, and animators to come and help out on this big collab that I am slowly and continuously expanding (I recently expanded the collab to allow animations of this collab :D). This will just be a collab with unknown creators (people with less than 150 fans), but anybody else is welcomed to participate! This is a slowly-moving collab, but it will speed up with more people that come, join, and help out! The discord link for anybody with a discord (if you do not have a discord, try getting one ;) you will need it later :D) is in the link above.

SECOND POST: REMAKING SONGS (REVISION TO THIS OLD POST)

So, I originally was going to do this (which I may still do it for LMMS songs), but I decided to take a new turn. On most of the songs/remixes/covers that I have done in the past in FL Mobile, I may do a "remaster" on any that have significant problems. I started doing Strong Force this past Monday, and I am gladly announcing that I have 7 more on their way as well! (I will need more than one day, so be patient to see all of the remastered songs!)

THIRD POST: TRAPPED AND NEW THINGS CONFUSION

I am continually getting requests on making FL songs for New Things and on making LMMS songs for Trapped. Please refer to the link above for reasons why I am not doing so. My guess is that many people have not referred to the post above, so they should read it and understand why.

Just another post/reminder to keep this MC alive, because it is slowly dying (and I do not want that at all T-T). FIFTH POST: NEWGROUDNS AUDIO DEATHMATCH 2018

I am joining again, hoping to place higher, and maybe actually place to the next round. I am joining with my best song A Colonial Age Ceremony of War, because that piece is amazing and the only song of mine to come close (but still far) would be The Insanity that Lurks Ahead. :D

That is it and A LOT OF THINGS TO HANDLE AT ONCE... I can still try to get a big grasp on this. :P

SUMMARY OF THIS POST

This past Thursday, I did a very quick project called Lost in Space. I did want it to be a part of my New Things set, but other unprecendented plans were made. Just the day after, I made Trapped in Another Galaxy, only to make Jailbreak from Gliese 581g that afternoon. A few moments after doing Jailbreak from Gliese 581g, I had the idea of doing a story collaboration based off of my Lost in Space songs. Just last night, I had expanded the idea of Lost in Space to collaborate with @TheFantasticZ. Now, I am making this post to reach out to anybody else who wishes to help me. (Even though a lot of the songs (or most any of my songs of that matter) are not that great to some people, the main idea as a whole consists of one big project.)

CURRENT PLANS

I originally planned for only just 3 chapters (collaborating with at least 3 other people for the story). The new plans are to have at least 5 to 7 chapters (including others for anybody who wishes to make their own songs for Lost in Space (DM me first)).

These are the past songs I have done just within the past 4 days! :O
I feel inspiration for music like I have been on too much caffiene and coffee. :P

The last time I made so much music in little time was WAY BACK when I made Stuck on Bass. I am so glad to be my old self again (in that I can make music quick enough again. :D :D

BEFORE WE GET TO THE MAIN POINT: Let's clear this out. I have had some confusion brought up by a few people asking me the following things:

1. "Can you make LMMS songs for Trapped?"
2. "Is the New Things song set our way of doing Trapped in LMMS?"
3. "What is the difference between Trapped and New Things?"

POINT 1 ANSWER: No. Trapped is STRICTLY made in FL Studio Mobile 3. I do NOT plan to make ANY songs for Trapped via LMMS.

POINT 2 ANSWER: That is not the point of New Things. New Things is meant to be a set of songs strictly based on music I have either not obtained enoughed experienced, need practice with, or ideas that I have either not touched or failed doing.

POINT 3 ANSWER: Trapped is a set of songs strictly made in FL Studio Mobile 3. New Things is no where close to Trapped. NOW TO CLEAR THIS OUT. New Things is strictly made in LMMS, but I do, however, have a small chance of expanding that to FL Studio Mobile 3, but the chances of that happening are slim to none for now.

NOW LET'S GET TO THE MAIN POINT.

This part of the people is strictly about New Things. I have had some genres in mind that I have always wanted to either go make and/or return to making:

1. Breakbeat - This may be a far reach for me, mainly because I have little knowledge about breakbeat (meaning this could be out of the question for a future song for New Things).
2. Complextro - Before you ask about this genre, I want to make more advanced complextro in the future, but not the near future. Yes, the complextro I have made does somewhat fit the criteria of complextro music.
3. Dubstep - This is a very hard genre for anybody who can't control their sounds properly (like me). I may come back to dubstep when other people (by "other people", I mean those who have done serious critiques on my past attempts; e.g. @AndoGDTunes, @DJRadiocutter, etc.) know I am ready.
4. Electro Swing - This is a personal favorite genre of mine. The first downside is that I have never touched this genre EVER, so I might do some quick scraps first before doing a full-blown electro swing song. The other downside is that I have heard that the amount of skill for this genre is quite variable, so how I will make my electro swing song will determine how much skill I need (I guess that is correct).
   1. I have had a suggestion to make Redo electro swing (or just in that similar feel). I may do that, but the chances are low but the chances may change.
5. Scary Ambience/Complextro Fusion - This is a crazy combination, I know that. The thing is, for the past year, I have had somebody ask me to combine these two into one song. I may do this, but this is very unlikely.

I will hopefully add to this list as time progresses.

Since I did a big room version Strong Force for its one year special, I am thinking of either remaking and or making X remakes of my old songs (mainly those I made from CHIPS) when their dates come close.

I actually cannot believe it has been a year since I made Strong Force. :O

In a past news post, I made this story for Strong Force:

While I was making Truth 2, I was thinking of putting in a dubstep drop, but I kept failing, so I went to the demo song Jasmina by Goldhands and used a similar pattern, but I still kept failing. So for the 5 days after, I just went the normal route for Truth 2 and improvised. Not long after that, in April 24, I started a totally new project just for testing a simple dubstep track. I listened to Goldhands's Jasmina again and then listened to ELEPS44's Effects and Dubstep Machine remix. When I got to the pre-drop, I was still trying to figure out a great pattern for a dubstep drop. I was in the same position as I was a month prior, failing just like I did in the drop attempt in Truth 2. So I stopped working on the project and went back to Truth 2 and finished it. Truth 2, at the time, became my best song and most productive, with a total production time of 40 hours. Truth 2 is still my most productive song as of today. So 3 days after I uploaded Truth 2, I began working on the unnamed project (soon to be Strong Force). Just 2 hours after, I found out about a weekly contest called NGCHIPS, so this gave me a bigger inspiration boost. On the next day, I had a eureka moment for the first dubstep drop. 3 hours later, the first dubstep drop became my best work I have done since my first music piece I have done by myself in 2014. Just only 2 days after, the second drop idea came. I just pitched the notes to different pitches so it sounds different, and so it did. I finished it on May 9, where between then and May 13, I tweaked some stuff here and there until it became the Strong Force song you here today. I renamed the unnamed song to Strong Force on May 12. That is pretty much the big story.

Every once in a while, I come back listening to Strong Force and wondering if I could travel back in time just to see how I made the song. Even though I have a lot more songs better than Strong Force now, Strong Force was mainly my big turning point for making music (yes, Truth 2 has a major part in this as well).

I am no longer a part of the CHIPS community as I have moved away from it because I had too much time on my hands with other things. I do appreciate the feedback I have gotten from them though. :)

This is a theme collaboration with @FGK2015, and it will be his last collaboration, because he is leaving. We will try to get this theme ready for NGAP15 hopefully within the date of April 21st.

3. REMIX FOR TheFantasticZ (TRAPPED CHAPTER 3)

I have recently been talking to @TheFantasticZ about remixing one of his songs yesterday. The remix is not yet official on which song it will be, but it will be a future song he will be making. I also decided to make the remix the third song in Trapped.
