Well, doing things differently is always good. you get a different crowd of people, and your old fans usually stick with you anyway :)

I just recently tried to do a future bounce song (Never done before) and it's working out well so far.

Do what you wanna do, not what others want you to do. ;)

Most of the music I have done in the past was just what I have been used to and I can whip up more of the same in less than an hour. I don't want that. I want to broaden my abilities in music. That is what I have been doing for a month now (when I started New Things, that is).

Interested to see where your music goes. I agree with @DJRadiocutter in that trying new things is good, as it does expose you to a new crowd of people, and it gives you experience in different production techniques, so it's a useful learning tool.
Best wishes!

Honestly, listening to your stuff, it seems you've got the dubstep flow down, but you just need some work on sound design and technique, something I struggle with a lot. That can be fixed only with practice, so if you're wanting to create dubstep, don't be afraid to make a few really basic tracks to get the sound design and stuff down. Again, best wishes!

@DJRadiocutter @JordanKyser Alright, cause, even if i did the same style of music, i wouldn't be able to do a song in less than an hour! also, you use LMMS right? trust me when i say, it may seem like the best free software, but i didn't invest a single dollar into FL studio. and it's the top rated DAW in the world (and no, i didn't pirate it, i got the free demo, which, i may add, seems bad, but it's still really good!)

Even just the demo is a really good program to use! the only downside is that you can't reopen projects, but then again, it doesn't really matter if you aren't thinking about doing VIP mixes!

I may get FL back on my pc. I used the demo before, and I may use it again. Believe it or not, my song Bipolar Reaction was made on FL 12
