Did I just find a random song that sounded great? I sure did. :D

Mind if I give a shoutout? :)

Chliz responds:

Sure! Thx!

This song is amazing, and I love the drops (although they are not the usual dubstep drops I hear). :D

RTMC responds:

Thanks!

Just saying this: I can hear the original melody... or... enough to know you have put it in.

Another thing, I love cinematic music, and this one is really enjoy for most of the song. :D

Also, I think the rubato piano at 4:21 is a bit too late imo.

SplatterDash responds:

I listened again to the rubito piano, and yeah, it's a bit late, but that's because I recorded that part to make sure it flowed freely. I kinda wanted the end of this to just float in a way, so that's why I aimed for that.

Other than that, I'm glad that you enjoyed this! Thr melody from NGRMC in this is, yeah, prominent, with very few changes (majority or which being cutting it down to the 7/8 time this is in from the 4/4 it was in), but it's just for ease to know I followed that rule :p

Okay, this is better than a lot of your tracks that I have listened to in the past, and a lot more intense. I like how your newer tracks are becoming. LD

Kirefyx responds:

Ye, that's why I'm starting a new season of tracks, they should be my best yet.

Very nostalgic! :O

Also, congrats on getting featured again!!!! :O

Ryzmik responds:

Thanks so much! I had never gotten that far :D

I guess most of the people who made NGUAC are trying to pull of big surprises to everybody else. :P

Anyways, a very amazing track, hope to see you make it to the final round. :D

JessieYun responds:

Hey JordanKyser,

Thanks a lot for the comment. Glad you like this track.
And thank you for the encouragement!

You use LMMS too? I do as well, but I use 1.2.0-rc5, because it seems to work better for me. :P

One thing I should point out first is that most of the sf2 instruments sound to narrow and that the percussion sounds too much in the back (or maybe... too wide? :/).

In my opinion, I have not seen anything like this from many people who create music with LMMS. Out of all of the music I have seen from LMMS, dubstep is what I see the least. You should check out some of my music, just so you know about why I mentioned that statement about the wideness of instruments. ;)

The drops are amazing, and very different from a lot of melodic dubstep drops that I have heard of in the past. (I don't own Serum, so you must be one of the lucky people you can use Serum in LMMS. :|) The only thing about the second drop that really bugs me is the sound coming in at both 4:24 and 4:45; these two Serum sounds are too narrow (I really have nitpicky attitude towards the wideness of drop instruments).

Overall, amazing song (especially when you made it in LMMS :O). I hope to collab with you some time in the future. :) :D

vidu3k333 responds:

I heard some of your tracks and it seems like mixing and mastering are your biggest problems (like Thexta, he has those problems too but seems like he doesn't improve). If you studied those two things properly then your tracks will sounds way better. The "wideness" (stereo) was a little bit narrowed for a reason (except for that growl, r.i.p.) About collaboration, contact me anytime, I run out of ideas pretty quickly :p Thanks for the review! :D

(Congratulations on getting featured! :D)

Okay... I have been listening to your tracks since (I think) late May. Some things are amazing while others are not, but that does not mean your tracks are bad. In fact, I find your tracks quite enjoyable and catchy (and that is coming from me, my tracks may not be as catchy at times ;P).

A LITTLE NOTE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE: Most of your tracks (like this one) seem to follow the same form. For your future songs, I would suggest experimenting with other things you would not usually do. I do that pretty much all the time. :D

Ryzmik responds:

Thanks so much! I want to change a bit the synths I use in my songs, or the "structure" of my songs. Thanks also for the advice! :D

This just blew me away! :O

Miyolophone responds:

Thanks JK! :O

This is actually a pretty pleasant song to listen to :D

Pauerpac responds:

Thanks! :3

I am a musician who does early-2000s style EDM, orchestral music, and melodic dubstep. My main themes are space, darkness, and (uncommonly) emotions.
